Places to get Music/Audio
CCMixter: Free Creative Commons licensed music: http://ccmixter.org/ (easy to download from, no login required)
Soundcloud.com has a lot of music that can be downloaded, but you need to have a SoundCloud account to do this. It is a free account. Once you are logged in, any track with a "download" button under it can be downloaded.
Youtube Audio Library: You can download music from the Youtube Audio Library, as long as you are using it as part of something that you are creating.
If you are signed in to a Youtube account, go to "https://studio.youtube.com/"
If you don't already have your own channel, you will need to set one up (publish your own channel)
Select "Audio Library" from the menu on the left , you will see lots of options that you are welcome to use as long as it is being used to create something new
This is different from ripping music from Youtube Videos, which is against the terms of service.

You can download free sound effects from any of the categories listed on the left under "Free Sound Effects"
Click on the category you'd like and then scroll through until you find what you are looking for

No login required, just click the link for the sound you want then download the .mp3 file

search using the search bar and then select the "Audio" category
A site for free loops, beats, and sound effects (requires an account) https://freesound.org/
Free sound effects, no login required: http://soundbible.com/royalty-free-sounds-1.html
once you find the audio you want, click on the title (green) to select the sound
go to either the .mp3 or the .wav image, and right-click your mouse
select "copy link address" and then paste the address in to a new tab
if this doesn't work, trying using a different browser like Firefox
