FFA develops members’ potential and helps them discover their talent through hands-on experiences, which give members the tools to achieve real-world success.
Members are future chemists, veterinarians, government officials, entrepreneurs, bankers, international business leaders, teachers and premier professionals in many career fields.
The official name of the organization is the National FFA Organization. The letters “FFA” stand for Future Farmers of America. These letters are a part of our history and our heritage that will never change.

The New York State FFA Convention is scheduled to take place from May 18th to May 20th, 2023! We are looking forward to gathering in-person at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center and welcoming over 2,000 FFA members, advisors and honored guests from across the state to hear from inspiring speakers, peers and agricultural professionals.
In 1946, the New York FFA combined all of its resources to purchase 1200 acres of Adirondack forest and started a summer camp for teenagers. Their primary goal was to give youth a place away from home for them to recreate who they are and to learn what it takes to meet new people in a new place.
