At the moment, a team of 4 dedicated women is taking care that this wonderful heritage can be used, so that more people can benefit from the spirit of it.
Three of them are volunteers who put their own resources and skills into ensuring that everything works: logistics, administration, practicals, hosting and all the most important things that allow activities to happen. One is employed, to make sure the activities are running.
is at the moment coordinating the Fund. She is a storyteller and trainer, who designs and guides the activities of the Amani. She works in the field of empowerment and conflict transformation, and here in Amani she uses stories as a map to reveal landscapes of the soul, to explore being human, to activate creative and healing resources, and to guide us in connecting to ourselves and each other.
is the warm heart behind all the papers, numbers, and communications within the Monastery. She is part of the School of Peace, allowing the integration of Amani in it. She is the one who silently makes it all possible.
is a keen observer who supports personal and group dynamics during the activities, while also taking care of some practical aspects of the Amani weekends, where she is often involved as helper.
is the lovely host and space holder of the weekend. She arranges all that is needed for participants to have a pleasant stay: a warm welcome, healthy treats, meaningful chats… her focus is on creating a safe and nurturing environment in which people can feel at home and enjoy the activities to the fullest.
