Choosing where to study at university is a really big topic!
This is because there are so many fine universities across the world, offering a variety of excellent courses and qualifications.
The advice on this website is focused on the likely choices of students at The British School, rather than on every possible option. For example, at the moment we don't have extensive information on this site concerning universities in the continent of Africa or in the Middle East, not because there are no good universities in those places, but because we imagine that most of our British School families will be looking at universities in or near the continent of Europe, or perhaps in north America, east Asia, or in Australia or New Zealand.
You'll see that there is a large amount of information on this site about universities in the United Kingdom. As a British School we have particular expertise in supporting applications to universities in the UK, but this doesn't mean that we recommend UK universities above those elsewhere.
We hope that the information contained in this website will help you to achieve a balanced view; we are well positioned to support you wherever it is that you wish to study.
We have arranged the information in this section in broad geographical areas. You will see there are a number of sub-pages featuring different places of possible interest. At the moment, this information is by no means comprehensive, but we will build up this information over the coming months. You can find these sub-pages focusing on different locations via the main menu, or directly via these shortcuts:
