What are Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)?
Pre-ETS focus on services that will help to prepare students with disabilities for life after high school through a variety of experiences and supports including:
Job Exploration
Counseling on postsecondary pathways and programs
Workplace readiness training
Instruction in self-advocacy

Eligible for Pre-ETS?
If you are between the ages of 14 and 21, and
If you have an Individualized Educational Program (IEP), or
If you have a Section 504 plan of the Rehabilitation Act and Americans with Disabilities Act, or
If you have an evaluation or documented proof of disability from your healthcare provider
Pre-Employment Transition Services Application
A paper application must be filled out, signed by both the student and guardian, and emailed to the BXTCAC bxtcac@schools.nyc.gov
