To apply to participate in the 2025 Summer Arts Institute, you must complete two steps:
The online application is comprised of four sections:
Part 1 - Studio Selection and Contact Information
Part 2 - Student’s Personal Statement
Part 3 - Certification
Submit an online audition following the guidelines for your art form. Please read all information in its entirety prior to submitting.
IMPORTANT!:
Students may apply for only ONE studio.
Incomplete applications will NOT be accepted.

Prepare your Personal Statement
Students are asked to write a personal statement of approximately 200-450 words (1200-1500 characters including letters and spaces) total in response to the following two questions:
What is it that attracts you to and inspires you about your art form?
What do you hope to gain from your experience with the Summer Arts Institute?
We suggest you write and edit your statement and then copy and paste your text into the online application. You may also type your statement directly into the online application.

Please do NOT submit a hard copy/paper version of the application.
All eligible students who submit a complete application by the application deadline are required to submit a virtual audition
To Audition:
All auditions will be held virtually.
1. Prepare your audition material. See the audition information section for details.
2. Submit your virtual audition by March 2, 2025.

A letter of recommendation may be requested. Advance notice will be provided.
Applicants who complete the audition will be notified of their acceptance status via e-mail in early April.
