Welcome to the Advanced STEM Research Class!
Visit the websites of F1 in Schools Global and F1 in Schools North America to get familiar with the wide spectrum of activities involved in this competition.
The Technical Regulations document is the foundation for designing and building the F1 in Schools race cars. It spells out the detailed rules about the materials, locations & dimensions of each part of the car (car body, nose cone, front/rear wings, wheel system, etc.). Each year, F1 in Schools Global will publish a new one. Here is the Technical Regulations for the World Finals 2024. The F1 in School North America will create a simpler version for Nations & Regionals for US & Canada based on this document. Please browse through the document briefly to get the first-hand impression of your starting point.
We will be using Autodesk Fusion as our cloud-based 3D CAD software for race car design. The education license for Fusion is free. You can go to Autodesk website to download the software and email Mr. Lin to add you to the user list.
