Stories on Stage: Using the research from the interviews, students will create their own script, dances and songs based on a story from one of the cultures that is represented in our school community. Students will then perform their adapted screenplay in front of their school community and invited guests.

WRITE A PLAY: Over the course of the next few weeks, students will collaborate to generate ideas, research, complete, and present an inquiry‑based project.
Limitations:
Students will not fully explore different cultures
Students self-discover and analyze/reflect on their own culture
No “real-world” impact or transfer of their knowledge
Podcast: Using the questions they have created and the interviews they will conduct, students will create a podcast to discuss their data. They will then end their podcast discussing how they can teach someone to be courageous.

Write an Essay: Students were expected to write an essay exploring what they learned about being courageous after reading a single story.
