Student Legacy

This is one kind of lantern, I decided to make this lantern as my legacy because I am from China so I want to leave some Chinese traditional culture, which relate to me as my legacy. And I cannot think up a good idea for an artwork so I decided to make a handmade artwork.

The main idea of this artwork is to show how I as a student build trees of hope to succeed in life. Also, have a world full of different things such as music, nature, painting which helps me to grow as a person and relax my mind. Although we are in a pandemic where everyone having a hard time following up with our daily norms and rules but we didn't give up, we are building the hope of positivity to get things back to normal.

The purpose of this art is during AP year time we had to face lot of pressure and complicated situation. we finished our entire year with pretty success and lot of new confident for our future journey. don't be afraid BE STRONG YOU WILL GLOW.

I made this artwork to convey that we should respect each other and always try to learn new things. As a student, I also got knowledge from school and took risks. I wanted to convey that by taking risks, we learn new things. Be positive always and never give up on anything. If the students need anything, the teachers are always available for us.

This artwork helped me portray the relation between monsters and superheroes from a different perspective. Either of the two could be the monster and the other their hero. I wanted to portray it so that I could show how the word monster has a different meaning for everyone.

This artwork was inspired by Arabic letters which made me to make a Arabic calligraphy. And I uses different medium of colors to show how colorful is the world is.

I want to leave this as my legacy work because I think that it says the most about me and how time is everything. This artwork shows how you are stuck in an hourglass and the time is ending quick, so you need to manage your time well and efficiently.

I want to leave this as my legacy artwork as I believe that when you paint the power is in your brush. This artwork is a reminder that you could reverse anything if you want to, you can portray the world in your own way cause you have the powered in your own way cause you have the power

This is a radical and micrography artwork. It tells about the empowerment of women and how millions of colored women are inspiring by the focal woman. On the focal area, there are some powerful words that describe the characteristics of strong women or the radical idea I wanted to present. Those flowers and those wavy blue patterns represent the beauty, strength and purity of every color of women. My artwork holds a powerful message of radicalness with women and also I finished all the mandatory elements that perfectly describes to be radical with art.

This is a portrait artwork of my best friend. So when I did this piece, the spring occurred and I looked through the nature to get some ideas about what can I do in next to her portrait, then I found the idea of putting flowers and bird and butterfly and the nice thing is that my best friend also loves flowers and birds.

This is an one point perspective artwork of my neighborhood. I created this artwork using vanishing point and following along with the horizontal line.

this is a monochromic artwork. I got the idea from other artists, I saw others using some specific colors to create an aesthetic sea or clouds artwork. Then I sort of came up with an idea of creating a sea artwork and that's how it turned out.

This artwork is about my most important things that are relates with my story. I took a picture of some important objects and I created an artwork about these objects. These are the objects can tell that I am beyond interested in drawing, music, a cup of coffee, BTS (the picture on my screen) and the most important thing is those two bracelets, those two are most important part of my life because my mother and father gave me and the other one my best friend gave me. These are related to my gloomy and gladsome days.

I chose this artwork for the portfolio because I love how I was able to show emotions to a letter. also add lots of colors into this art piece!!.( but I cannot find it at the moment but I'm sure u seen it on the zoom) my art work is based off a letter butt also describing it into a object.

The ideas behind this artwork was to show the letter I have which was "U" into an object. The lesson was about making this artwork was showing off the letter "U' can be use as a piece of art work and making tons of ideas.

Some technique I use for this artwork were some art elements. probably a little bit of some art principles. these technique are shapes, color and value, repetition and pattern.

These technique were useful because it help me a lot with giving the letter "U" a certain perspective. this is important to me because I feel like the letter "U" shouldn't be label as just a letter "u" and a boring one, you can make it into something so creative!.

Some important things I learned about creating these artworks were to express your self be creative!, Even the tiniest strokes can make a difference in the right place.

Next year's experience in design and making art work in the future influence me well because now I know that art isn't about perfection its about being creative looking at the picture bigger than what it is and most importantly being yourself.
