Micrography
My artwork was to make something radical and I choose to do something I wanna do in the future and that is to become a Military . The idea behind my project was to combine my idea/future to my artwork so everything I see it I get inspired to reach my goal some of the concepts I learned from this lesson is that we can always make something look better than what is already done/ revision. some techniques I used during this artwork was shading ,creating lines , measurements so everything can fit/proportions and last but not least the micrography am I got inspired to put those word in my artwork from videogames.
Surrealism
My artwork is about, the mind a person who has DID (Dissociative identity disorder.) The story behind this drawing is the host (the person that is originally in their own mind and body) is going through a argument, and through out the way, the brain didn't feel safe enough for the alter (which is blue) should take over since they are the child like. Which leads to the protecter (the red) to take jump in and host the body. However, there is a lobby to go through in which allows you to enter the mind and body to control the host. In the lobby the wall is filled with things that are involved in nature because the host interests would involve nature. The eyes would represent the different perspective of each alter. The red eye your able to see its growing bigger and over taking the blue eyes, in which each alter perspective about the situation would change. The strategies I have used, is color, shape, texture, and movement.
Special Objects
My artwork is about special objects that I found around my house that have a significant meaning to it. I chose this artwork because I thought that it was one of the more visually appealing artworks that I made and I really like how it turned out. The idea behind this artwork was to make a still life drawing of objects that are special to you and have some sort of a significant meaning to it. The unit was about drawing still life art at the time of this project and during this unit, I learned how to use proportion and shading to make my objects look realistic. Some techniques that I learned are to use your pencil to measure proportion and make your art as proportional as you can. The Eiffel tower shows the time that I went to Paris and the music box shows that I like to collect small things like this because they are just fun to have around. Some of the most important things I learned from this artwork is that many elements of art can be used together in one drawing or painting and the more elements that are used, the better the art will look. This year in art will influence my future art because I have learned a lot of techniques and ways of making art and this will help me in the future if I ever create an art piece.
i chose this art work because of the lessons it taught me about realism and in general how to draw nature.I really liked how it came out and how the setting shows a calmed mind. The artwork also show the beauty of winter by taking place in a winter wonderland at a park. I uses both shading and perspective to create this art work. This artwork can have multiple meanings Because of it simplistic design
I choose this artwork because these two items are important to me. the candles bring me relaxation. the camera brings me memories of the times or moments that are meaningful, the people i enjoy being with. in order to create this artwork i need to outline the objects and add different types of shades to make it realistic.
Cindy
I made this one because I wanted to showcase my different talents in art techniques. My artwork is about showing my skills that I've learned in this class. My idea behind this artwork is that I wanted to see how many different techniques I could use without having a lesson about the artwork we have done. I shaved a block of a chalky brown substance and used a dry brush to give the Yeti color. I used paint to make the snow and I kind of sprayed it on the artwork. I added tissue paper and water to get the color of the mountain. I also shaded in some areas darker and lighter. They were useful because I had a big blank white space with only texture and I added so many things. The most important things I have learned in art is that I can make whatever I want and I can always add more to it. This art work influences my future in art because I can use so many more techniques to make art and the techniques are fun like using tissue paper and glow in the dark paint.
I sketched this scene during a long walk in Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania countryside. Landscape art, is the depiction of natural scenery such as mountains, valleys, trees, rivers, and forests, especially where the light conditions such as sun, fog, and weather can make mountains seem to disappear, or look larger than they are. I sketched trees and reflections of trees on the mountain side.
I learned so much from sketching these are the things I have learned and will continue to do.
Hatching & Cross-Hatching. These methods are effective ways to add depth to my sketches through shading and blending created using my finger to rub the pencil lead to create depth to show the beauty of the trees and mountains.
Description
Neighborhood
I chose this art work beacuse I wanted you guys thats how my neighborhood looks like. some concepts that wwe used were the value of the color, angle hatching management. The portrait of this art is that it tells you that its a nice neighborhood. The important thing that I learned is that I never knew that my neighborhood is really pretty until I had this project.
I chose this particular artwork for my portfolio due to the pop-out chosen colors that represent or symbolize what the artwork is attempting to emphasize or spread awareness of. For instance, I am a true believer of the government's lust for power and money, like any other human being but most importantly, that it sees its people as live stock and their lives as their beneficial of funds. Certain terms that have been included within the artwork itself was meant to cause or spark some sort of reaction that would make the audience doubt whether their government in truth, sees them or perceives them in such manner. Thus, money, corruption, and capitalism goes hand by hand.
I chose this artwork for my portfolio because i liked the way it came out compared to my other artworks. My artwork is based off a self portrait. The ideas for the background would be the planet mars. Some concepts that i applied and learned while creating this would be shading and foreshadowing. one of the most important things i learned this year is to take my time. The character shown would be me but on the Red planet. This could influence my future artwork by making more self portraits on different planets.
I chose this artwork for the portfolio because I love how I was able to show emotions, also add lots of colors into this art piece!!. my art work is based off a innocent baby monster.
The ideas behind this artwork was to show how not all monsters are bad, some can be innocent and sweet. The lesson was about making this artwork Getting to know more about Monsters and the relationship between ideas and artworks.
Some technique I use for this artwork were some art elements. probably a little bit of some art principles. these technique are shapes, color and value, repetition and pattern.
These technique were useful because it help me a lot with giving the monster a certain perspective. this is important to me because I feel like not all monsters should be label as scary or dangerous everyone is different in their own ways.
Some important things I learned about creating these artworks were to express your self be creative!, Even the tiniest strokes can make a difference in the right place.
Next year's experience in design and making art work in the future influence me well because now I know that art isn't about perfection its about being creative looking at the picture bigger than what it is and most importantly being yourself.
This artwork focuses on the idea of self-acceptance. The blindfolds represent the idea that we are all affected by judgment and criticisms but we believe otherwise. The person in black and white shows how we believe we are the only ones being judged, but we turn a blind eye to others in the same situation. The reason behind my choosing this theme for my artwork is because I think that we often notice the monsters that we face. I felt that a subtle portrayal presents the fact that not all monsters are visible to the eye. I used watercolor pencils, pens, markers, and pencils to create this artwork. I incorporated color, contrast, shape, form, value, and unity. When put together it helped me create this artwork, that makes us see the person in the center as the focus, much like we see ourselves on a daily basis.
In this artwork I was looking forward to drawing something that symbolized me but also the complete opposite of my personality.
In this artwork I wanted to draw about the reality that many farm workers face in the US and by doing that I wanted to show how these workers hands look after a day in the feild. And I wanted to show the reflection of their face being tired and dirty with dirt in their face. And include an important quote from a famous civils rights leader who was Cesar Chavez. I like this quote because it is saying that the problem isn't about the fruit of vegetables but about the people that are working on growing them and that is the message I wanted to include in this drawing. For this drawing some vacabularys I kept in my was having a focal point and remebering it had to repersent the idea of radical which for me ment change and with this drawing I really wanted to show how in reality these workers look like and the struggles the keep on facing and that was what I wanted to include in my golden frame.
I chose this artwork because I was able to show the idea of a superhero based on how I look at myself. There is lines, color , shape and form being shown with the colors of red, blue and black in order to represent my favorite colors. This artwork is to show my identity and to grow character development. A superhero is a good person where most people visualize them as the positivity of the society which is the main purpose when trying to show yourself as a superhero.
proportion : dimensions of a compodition and relationships between height , width and depth.. also described the sizes of different parts.
charcter development : concept in art is thr creation of the entire concept , style , and artwork of a character that does not yet exist.
-I choose this artwork because i feel like it interpret the meaning of surrealism very well. To me was going for something that we see on a everyday basis. The rainbow the road the moon the stars. They all beautifully correlate together.
-I also added this to bring light to all the stuff that's going o in our country today. It is a very sensitive topic and I think that this painting is very inputting to that.
-so I have choose this art work because i think its a perfect example of surrealism
-so the idea behind is to make something that doesnt seem real so tried to draw a eye sketch and eye drop and to float a duck on it and eye lahes i tried to make it colorful so it will not look real.
-the lesson was i think that yeah you can make a unreal sketch by your own ideas because it starting it seems difficult to me but the experience was really good.
- so the techniques I used to make this art was pencil shading, wave painting
- these techniques are about shapes and texture, lines, colour & values.
- These techniques are useful to make you art look more attractive.

This artwork was for the first project done called Monster, where we learned about the histories of certain monster's to draw what a monster is to us in looks and personality. I chose this design because I like the shaping I put in the monster and the linings I put in it. It an help me have an easier time knowing where to shade in and where I could add extra features to not make it look disorganized.
This artwork is for special project. I chose this one because it's the most concise and the best one I've ever painted. The skill I learn which is contrast between dark and light colors. I think this skill is useful for me. It can make it easier for me to sketch people and landscapes in the future. This year's design and art production experience will bring a lot of improvement to my future works, let me know that painting is not simply aimless depiction of a landscape or a character. He needs a lot of skills and methods to make the people or landscapes you draw more vivid and real
So, this artwork shows surrealism and seems like realistic at the same time. The half of the photo is a human and the other half is objects. I chose to draw this picture because this picture is worth many meaning. The right side of the picture shows that what we do & we need to in daily life and which things are necessary. The left side of the picture represents that a human has to think about many things in real life and also have to think about many problems and his family. The artwork shows a different kind of art and I got the idea from a person who is also very connected to artworks. I shadowed the sides more clearly to make it more realistic and applied light and dark sketches
Surrealism
I chose this artwork because I believe that it is a perfect example of Surrealism, the artwork also has deeper message being portrayed in it referring problems in our world and society, the drawing shows surrealism because of the placement of each message and how they are being portrayed as shown in the artwork it is a rather unreal way (surrealism) - I chose to draw a dying tree attached to the earth to represent the damage that we have caused to it and the nature and mountains around it represents that we still have time to fix this and make the world what it once was. The planet surrounded by moons and was the represent the idea of going to space if all come to worst but I personally feel like that plan will fail.
I chose this artwork for my portfolio because I think it’s showing like what is going in real life I think. My ideas behind this artwork was to show that some people like to choose a life of video games, and other like the real life more. Then lesson we had when I was doing this was Surrealism. Some concepts I learn from this unit was Designed Composition, thumbnail sketch, surreal. The techniques that I used to make this artwork was layering, shading. The symbols that are drawn in my picture the right side they represent that games like pixels a winning flag a control. On the left side of image there is a person where she is sitting and enjoying the view. What I learned by doing this are that they are many different ways to make an artwork as well many different ways to drawing and different styles of art. This year of experience in art class it was excellent because I got to learn new stuff as well new ideas of art making and that there are many ways to make a drawing as well new vocabulary.
I chose this artwork because it represents my culture and religion. it also shows a great way of surrealism in the depths of how the muslim relgiion is connected to the symbol of the moon
I chose this artwork because to me I think it looks more creative and it has those details that tells about ones mindset about their point of view, their thoughts, their hearing, their observation and then the way the emotions come out through face and how long it takes them to do it and how these things can affect their mind and that’s what is being described in art through some symbolic objects. The ideas came by observing surrounding objects that would lead to the concept I wanted. Our lesson or unit was surrealism to make an artwork with our imagination but holds a meaning. Some concepts I have learned was doing the thumbnail. I used colors and abstract to create this artwork. Some important things I learned was related vocabulary of creating arts and some new techniques and ideas such as doing the objects artwork and neighborhood artwork. The things that I have learned in this year will influence me to use this ideas and techniques in my future artworks.
This artwork focuses on the idea of surrealism. The door represents humanity's pathway to a perfect world where the world is filled with color and lively. While the outside shows the reality of a crumbling economy represented through the rusty color. My reasoning behind choosing this artwork was because a lot of the time we tend to forget the consequences there are and how we can affect others or something without know so. I felt like this was a good way to portray this because the colors providing meaning for themselves felt like a creative idea to put into a drawing. I used colored pencils, pencils, and light pens to create this artwork. I incorporated color, contrast, shape, form, value, and unity.
I chose this because this is my favorite art work we did all year it was fun to do and i enjoyed it. The art work dose not have a meaning but it was made to have a scary apperance when you look at it. If you want to have an exprence with this creature play until dawn the game as it has a simuler creature in the game. The idea behind this art work came from a creature called a windago if you search this up you will see a creature simuler to what i did. The art element that i used is line and focal point i was going to do texture but it would not look right so i did focal point and line and made my nice creation. Something simuler to this project was the hero it was the opsite of what we did but it was what it was and it was drawing a good guy like a hero. This was the opsite but thats the only two i can think of being similar.
I choose this artwork for the portfolio because I like this artwork that we have to make a art that is not real and it was really fun to make this artwork. My artwork is about surrealism. The ideas behind the artwork is to make things that is unreal. Our lesson is about making things that never happened in real life. I learned how we can make a artwork that looks like dream or imagination. I use color pencils and pencils to make this artwork. I include color, shading, shape, value etc. to make this artwork. These techniques are useful to make your art looks good. The most important things I learned creating this artwork is how we can make a surreal art. This year experience in design and artmaking influence me in the future because it reminds me of how we make different types of art
Row 11: Sakib, Kacey, Jonathan
I chose this artwork for the portfolio because at first i didn't know what to re create but as i was going through my artwork i came across this piece that i did in the beginning of the year that i wanted to add on it. My artwork is a portrait of myself doing poses with a little 3 D effects of flowers on the faces and all around it. The lesson i learned from creating this art piece was that i thought i was done with the piece but you can always add on and o more to artworks and make it better. Just never over do it. I used coloring, drawing and shading a little bit. This portrait is important to me because it is the firsts portrait of myself i have ever created so overall weather it is good or not i am very proud of it. Doing art this year the experience was not bad. I learnt to have patience and take time with everything that you do so you can have the best out come.
I chose this drawing based on my thoughts i had and what i thought was an inportant issue up tpo date
I chose to do this artwork because a lot of this represents my interest and what I find fun to do. This character is sasuke which is my favorite character from the anime naruto. His eyes are basketballs because I like to play basketball a lot on my free time. The boombox in the back represents that I like to listen to music a lot everyday. The double B's and the LV are two of my favorite designer brands which stands for Balenciaga and Louis Vuitton because I like clothes a lot. And the logo on his shirt is the logo for the game Valorant, which I play a lot.
This is a special object artwork and it shows objects that are important to me. I like this artwork the most because I have dedicated a lot of time and attention in incorporating the details like the shadow and highlights. I learned how artists use objects in their works and learned to draw 3D objects on paper. To make this drawing I used techniques like shading, 3D, texture and shape . These techniques were useful in making the objects look 3- Dimensional. These objects are important to me because they are things that I usually use daily and are one of my favorites. Like the camera reflects that I like photography and a bottle of perfume shows I like fragrances. Doing art this year made me realize that I am not bad at drawing. While creating these artworks I learned that everything needs to take time and had to go under processes to come out perfect.
I chose this artwork for my portfolio. It represents surrealism. This artwork is created entirely through my imagination and that is what it makes it unique. I added more details like making the background blue.
This is the surrealism project. It focuses on things that are dream-like and unrealistic. This is my favorite because I was able to draw whatever I wanted. It shows how creative our mindsets can get.
surrealism
I choose this artwork because it reflect into the world nowadays. the ideas suddenly pop up inside my mind and i draw. the lesson when created this artwork is how to created the artwork to be surreal. i use sketching and acrylic paint to make this artwork. sketching is very useful because if we don't sketch the drawing will turn out bad. The characters in my artwork is very important to ideas because it's talk about how people use face to look at each others nowadays. Well i learned that using acrylic paint it's easier when using water paint to paint the background. this will influence my future artworks because i learned so much and i might want to remember it when it come to draw in the future.
Surrealism
I chose this topic and this artwork for my portfolio because the topic is actually not limited at all and the ideas to work with are infinite. The main idea behind my artwork is the infinity of the universe. To create this work we learned how to make your ideas surreal, I used sketching, color paint and marker to make outline while polishing my work. These features and techniques in making an artwork are very useful because while I was using them I could completely make the sketch in my imagination stronger and decide what should I draw. While making this artwork I learned that colored pencils are not as good as paint. And in order to make better work you should use paints. Surrealism artwork will influence my next, future works because I learned and understand so much new things and techniques.
Nature
I chose this topic because it represents where I was born and how I lived. There was a lot of grass and animals and my house was bigger and better than this but I still lived with a lot of nature with me. I used pencils and colors to describe what life is like in Bangladesh. It is not the best living in Bangladesh as it is a poor country. This describes what type of lifestyle I had to live with. Nature in Bangladesh is very beautiful and it represent something to me which is that nature should not be harmed and it will provide the earth sustenance.
Through my artwork, I want to represent a woman who is a mother. In the world only mother love is unconditional. So, a mother deserves love and respect but in my country, women are not equal to men. A woman works all day long as a housewife at the same time raising her kids but still, there is no value for them, their opinion does not have any value. women have to do and followed what here husbands said. There is no freedom. In my home country, it is very normal and I choose this artwork because I want to represent struggling as a women in my country. This project was about radicalism. There are so many techniques that I used in this artwork such as painting, shading, and blending. One thing I learned about making artwork is to put effort because it will help more. This year is very tough for both students and teachers. we could learn more if we are in person but still, I learn many things that will help me in the future.
Dream artwork
So this is my dream artwork .We know the dream means something realistic but not clear so that is it .The picture what I am drawing not not real but i draw it by a blurry finishing because dream is not exact .I feel like a dream like this dream where i can feel free to live ,running and the picture says the feeling she can feel whatever she want .It's a magic dream day people who live in real life they actually want this type of dream . So i draw this picture as my perspective motivation like i am dreaming .people could live their life heavenly in their own dream world and the girl also lead this .I have been shown through this picture .
Surrealism
This is my best artwork so far. Through this artwork I am representing how the Earth feels when people create wars and kill each other, when people cut trees knowing very well that the trees are the Earth's lungs, when people kill animals for their own use, when people criticize each other because of their skin color, nationality, or disabilities. All of these things are a big effect on Earth because Earth suffers every time someone does something bad. We only think about ourselves and we don't even know the danger we causing to the Earth when we burn the forests, or the smoke that is caused by factories, vehicles, and more. I just want people to stop doing those bad things and help the Earth to be a better world where we can live in peace.
The two face is a piece of work that took the most dedication to work and I used new techniques I haven't used before, for example, blending and painting. the ideal was a man and monster symbolising the man and a mans nature. inspired by the famous shonen Jump Naruto.
