At Flushing High School, we will improve our students' analytical* skills through the use of interdisciplinary protocols that facilitate critical thinking.*
**Analysis- The breakdown of the topic, theory, issue, or text into its various pieces or parts to draw conclusions about how the pieces or parts fit together to create a new understanding.
Our analysis:
Must have a purpose
May make an argument or reach a conclusion
May discuss causes and effects
May highlight advantages and disadvantages or strengths and weaknesses
May discuss effectiveness and ineffectiveness
