ABOUT THE LIBRARY
All library rules can be summed up by this one word:
Respect
Believe it or not, teachers (and librarians) are humans. Your fellow students are also humans. Custodians are humans. People in different countries are all humans. Be considerate and kind to all of these humans in all of the following ways:
Don’t be loud and annoying. That means the library is a comfortable place, but also a quieter place so anyone can come in and relax, read, and do homework.
Don’t leave things on the ground or tables. Pick up after yourself instead of expecting a different human to do it.
Return books to where they belong. If books are put in the wrong place, we can’t easily locate them. If books can't be found, we may as well not own them. Do NOT place books on top of shelves.
