This 2021 version provides guidance around safe and ethical procedures for science teaching and learning and addresses city, state and federal regulations for science laboratories, investigations and experimental learning activities.

The Student Laboratory Safety Contract outlines some safety practices that students are always expected to uphold and follow and must be distributed to each student doing laboratory work in school. This contract requires signatures from students and their parent/guardian and must be kept on file for one year.
