About Me

Hi! My name is Ms.Corbo. I am the dance teacher here at PS/IS 30. I have been dancing since the age of 6 training in various styles like ballet, jazz, contemporary, modern, tap, lyrical and musical theater. I was a competitive dancer until the age of 19. At 19, I went on to study and perform dance at Hunter College. I joined the PS/IS 30 family in 2019 after I graduated from Hunter College. At Hunter College, I graduated from the Arnhold Dance Education Program with a Bachelor's Degree in Dance and a Master's Degree in Dance Education. In addition to teaching dance here at PS/IS 30, I am a competitive and recreational dance teacher at a studio in Brooklyn as well as the dance instructor at a summer camp. I love creating a space where students can learn the skills and joy of dance. I am so excited to be a part of the Mary White Ovington Team and can't wait to continue bringing dance to our students!
