The Last Supper

The Last Supper was painted between 1495 and 1498. In this painting, Da Vinci illustrates a feast and many interactions between people. For example, there are many hand gestures shown in the painting as well as facial expressions which indicate the mood of the painting. Leonardo successfully portrays communication throughout this painting because of these interactions and expressions.
