Insecurity Highlight
By Nathaniel A.
By Nathaniel A.
No I'm not used to having a meal on the table
No my family is not financially stable
That doesn't mean that I am not able
To be the president
To beat the socially accepted precedent
No i probably cant afford college yet
Anxiety is killing me, i think there's no cure
And keep this between me and you
I'd rather let that get to me before the wrong cops do
Now let's give this poems title a moment to shine bright
Let's go through my insecurity highlight
Yes I'm fat
Yes I'm black
No I don't know where my dad is at
Yes I cry stare at the sky
Honestly wondering when imma die
in no way does that say that you can be racist to me
Whatever that means
Honestamente, me pregunto cuándo moriré.
