Supporting Family Members

Family members are welcome to participate in the summit as a member of a District Team, on your own, with other parents/caregivers, or with educators or community partners.

Here are supports available for family members:

Family Member Stipends

• Each Family Member representative will receive a $75 stipend to honor your time and effort as a summit participant.

• You will receive your stipend check at the Summit on October 26 when you check in.

• Please note, district staff who are also parents of children in the district are not eligible for the Family Member stipend.

Interpretation Services

• Summit organizers will provide interpretation services for Family Members who request them. You will be asked if you need interpretation support when you register.

Transportation Support

• Family Members will be asked if they need help with transportation when they register. 

• If you are a member of a District Team: Summit organizers will contact your District Team lead for help coordinating transportation.

• If you are not part of a District Team: Summit organizers will work with you to try to identify good transportation options.

Help Finding Local Child Care Options

• Unfortunately, we cannot provide child care at the summit, due to regulations and limitations of our venue.  If you are a member of a District Team, we are happy to check in with your District Team Lead about local child care options.
