All about Mrs. Dudas!!!
Teacher Related:
Mrs. Dudas started her teaching career in the Fall of 2003. Mrs. Dudas taught 5th grade for a full 2 years, then took a break from 2005 to 2014 to stay at home with her two sons, Michael and Stephen. Now, Michael is soon to be 19, turning 20, and Stephen is 17, turning 18. Michael attends the University of Delaware, and Stephen attends Boyertown High School. And don't forget her bearded dragon, Dune! After staying home with her boys for 9 years, she became a paraprofessional at Gilbertsville Elementary School for 3 years. Next, she came to STC in 2018 to teach 2nd grade. But that only lasted a year, because she left again and returned to Gilbersville Elementary School. Finally, she returned to STC in the Fall of 2020 and began teaching 4th grade. Also, she taught at Jackson Street, a public school in Massachusetts. She also taught at St. Bridget's School in Connecticut.
She has said that her favorite grade to teach is 4th grade! In my 4th-grade year, her favorite subject to teach was Social Studies/History, but this year it has changed to Math. As stated, she thinks the subject she starts to like is influenced by the class that year and by how differently we all learn. This year, the 4th graders have really connected with Math, which makes her love to start teaching it! Growing up, she didn't want to be a teacher, but an accountant. She loved to play with numbers, so her love with numbers influenced her to become an accountant. Also, when she was in High School, she had a finance class, and they organized books, which really made her want to become an accountant. Finally, she studied Economics/Finance in College.
Fan Favorites:
Mrs. Dudas's favorite color is pink. The color makes her happy and comfortable. Also, she thinks it is a super pretty color. If you ever he, that would be French. She loves the way French words flow, and just the sound in general! If there were a second option, it would be Hungarian. She would choose Hungarian because her father-in-law communicates in Hungarian, so she would like to be able to communicate with him and also spend time and talk with the locals. Ever wonder what Mrs. Dudas did as a kid? Well, she used to sled at school in the wintertime! The school had sleds (or you brought your own), and there was a ginormous hill behind the school. So the school actually let them sled down the hill! Wouldn't you want to do that?
Don't worry, she has some great advice for you, students, and teachers! She states, "You need to always be your BEST self because it's the only way to be!" Another quote she thinks everyone needs to know is, "You need to believe it to achieve it!" She gives the best advice, doesn't she! She's also having dinner with Benjamin Franklin! Since he's so intelligent (an inventor, a book writer), she would just love to have a simple conversation with him!
Thank you for learning about Mrs. Dudas!

ALL ABOUT MRS. CARPENTER:
She loves both her art and gym classes equally. She is fantastic at managing both classes, but she does it by teaching one class on 1 day and another on a different day. It is sometimes hard for her, but she manages it with fun and dedication.
Mrs. Carpenter has a lot of pets to take care of—31 in total. If she could visit anywhere, she would go to Australia. Would you go there? Her favorite colors are slate blue, forest green, black, and any dark color. Her superpower, if she had 1, would be to fly, and her favorite food is Doritos and Reese's Pieces on Sunday! Her favorite place she has been to was Ireland! One of her favorite artists is Salvador Dali. She loves all animals, but she especially likes bats.
