Objectives of this civics class is for students to:
Explain the purpose and function of governments and basic principles of democracy.
Identify the rights and responsibilities of citizens.
Understand how laws are made and enforced.
Recognize the role of local, state, national, and/or international institutions.
Below are the units and topics we will be studying. Most units have an "end-of-unit" project that will foster a deeper connection to the content for the student.
