part 2 - the project

PROJECT INTRODUCTION: You will be creating a comprehensive presentation on your ideas for a dream vacation.

PART 2 : DREAM VACATION PROJECT

Instructions: Create a 10 slide PowerPoint about a Dream Vacation; it can be on more than one place you want to visit.

Starter: Open a blank PowerPoint, click File, New, Search Online for a different theme that you have not used before. Use Slide Master to change colors, fonts, effects, and placeholders to customize your presentation.
In Slide Master, create THREE custom layouts. Rename them your name-layout 1, 2, 3.
Add a different shape on each layout with the number 1, 2, 3 in it.
Add different placeholders to each of the three custom layouts.
Make sure to use all three custom layouts somewhere in your presentation and label them in the title of the slide.

Requirements:

  • Original Theme that you have customized in SlideMaster (DO NOT USE ONE OF THE DEFAULT THEMES!)

  • At least 10 images (you can do more). All images have Picture Style, Boarders, and Special Effects

  • Action Buttons that lead to Next Slide, Previous Slides, and Home

  • At least 2 slides with shapes that have been grouped together

  • 1 Transition per slide. Transitions move automatically

  • 2 videos. Video have a Poster Frame, Video Style, Video Shape, Video Effects, and start automatically

  • 1 Hyperlink to a Website, and 1 Hyperlink to another slide that is not a previous, next, or home action button. Find creative ways to add your Hyperlinks

Peer Review – Slide #11:

When you have completed your work, but before you turn in your project, have a neighbor add an 11th slide to their PowerPoint – “<Your Name> Peer Review”. Give your honest feedback about their PowerPoint. Give them 2 things you like about their PowerPoint, and 1 thing they could change.

Refer to PART 1 TUTORIALS for reminders on how to apply any of the required elements.
