COMPUTERS - WHAT'S INSIDE?

Let's take a hands on look at all he components that make up a computer.

Assignment 8

  • Open the provided computer chasis so that you can access all the parts inside.

  • Examine the interior and identify the various cable connections seen.

  • Using the provided tools as needed, carefully remove the Power Supply.

  • Remove the Ram

  • Remove the Hard Drive

  • Show all your removed parts to the teacher and answer questions posed regarding the identification of each part.

  • Carefully replace all the parts as they were originally installed in the computer.

  • Close the chasis and return all tools to the teacher.
