With two decades in the field of instructional design, I am skilled at creating adult learning experiences, along with the needed processes to manage the workflow in the areas of higher education and corporate learning and development.
With my first introduction to online learning as part of the first all-online cohort at University of Northern Colorado, I was hooked. The classes were engaging, with strong teaching presence and a cohesive group of classmates; overall, a great experience. Many subsequent online learning experiences were quite the opposite.
Subsequently, this led me into a career where I have had numerous opportunities to analyze adult learning experiences and turn them from something tedious or simply pointless, into valuable learning encounters. What's exciting to me is that I can now also share this knowledge with my students in master's level instructional design classes.
I am a U.S. citizen and currently split my time between Florida, Austria, and Gibraltar. I have worked remotely since 2019, and have experience managing a remote team.
