What is i-Ready?

i-Ready was created by Curriculum Associates in 2011 with the help of educators to help schools support students at all different academic levels.

Each diagnostic helps us to determine the areas in both English and Math your child needs help to strengthen and master. After each diagnostic test, they are given individualized lessons that are adapted as your student grows stronger in their struggling content areas.

How can we access i-Ready at home?

Students may access the link through:

Google Chrome on a non-Apple device, such as a Chromebook, HP, Lenovo, or Microsoft
Safari on a Macbook
i-Ready Connect for Students app on their iPad (linked to the left)

How can I see my child's progress?

In their student accounts, there is a "My Progress" clickable link at the bottom control panel once logged in. From there, you will be able to see:

How much time they had spent completing lessons for the week (Monday-Sunday)
How many lessons your student had passed for this academic year
How many lessons your student had passed in a row
The name and scores of each lesson your student has taken

1st Diagnostic - September

Seventh-grade students will be taking the first i-Ready diagnostic test of the year on September 20, 2023, and September 27, 2023. One day will focus solely on Math while the other solely on Reading. This is Point A, which is our starting point in the year.

2nd Diagnostic - January/February

Seventh-grade students will be taking the first i-Ready diagnostic test of the 2024 year on January 26, 2024, and February 7, 2024. One day will focus solely on Math while the other solely on Reading. This is our mid-year reflection: How well are students doing? What strategies are working? What are their weakest points? What are their strongest points? How much have we grown this year together? How can we continue to grow? These will be the sole focus of the diagnostic results at this time, which means there is still plenty of time for everyone to be successful!
