Seventh grade taught first grade

all about plant cells and animal

cells! We learned about cell walls,

cell membranes, and built a model!

Our after school STEM program takes place on Wednesdays and Thursdays- FREE of charge! Here, our first session (containing Kindergarten through fourth grades) are building aluminum foil boats to see how much weight they could hold. Whichever boat can hold the most die WINS! Students had the opportunity to fix their boats and try for a second time.

Culture Fest at SCG ~ STL

Seventh Grade represented the country of France! We learned so much about cafe culture, the art and history of mime, black history, and even the similarities between French and Haitian Creole. At this festival, students were encouraged to walk to each class display and write something about each of the countries in their personalized passports.

Christmas Ornament Exchange Program with Catholic Schools Across the United States!

This year, students in seventh grade participated in a national ornament exchange with other students from Catholic schools! The Tablet even came to interview our students about their participation in this exchange and how it connects to their Catholic identity. The world is so BIG out there and we are all connected.

Many thanks to everyone who was involved in this project and this article!!

World Drawing God Day 2023

Seventh grade students were tasked with drawing their personal interpretations of God! As we have studied together, God is everything and everywhere all at once. God is the ground we walk on, the air we breathe, the butterfly flying past us, the bird migrating south for winter. Our interpretations ranged from a ray of light to the entire universe! One student even drew a cat chilling on a beach on a warm summer day. What an amazing way to celebrate our relationship with God.

The little pigs fascinated us!

Baby guinea pigs are adorable!

Here, sixth grade is reading their independent books silently to themselves. They are able to choose a comfortable spot in the classroom to sit and read. Reading is KEY!

Test Ready

It is never too early to start prepping for the NYS Tests!
