My goals for our year:
To help students find a love for reading and writing. To achieve this goal, we will be having a Reading Challenge that will take place throughout the entire academic year and we will be writing on a daily basis.
To get all passing scores on our ELA and Science State Tests this year. To achieve this goal, I will be designating time in class for students to take past tests and to fix their mistakes together with their groups to help further their understanding of the material.
To be kind and compassionate with Christ and St. Therese as our role models. To achieve this, I am hosting a Kindness Challenge, where students are expected to get in the habit of doing kind things for the sake of being kind without expecting anything else in return.
Classroom Supplies:
1 pack of baby wipes
1 box of tissues
1 roll of paper towels
1 container or Lysol wipes (or nonbleach wipes)
1 24-pack of water
**It is mandatory for each student to have their own headset. No earbuds will be allowed to be used for iReady testing or in-class lessons.**
