All students need to have a pair of indoor running shoes that will remain at school.

These shoes will be worn in the classroom and during their scheduled gym classes.

In order for your child to be independent in putting on their shoes and avoid getting frustrated, it is best to buy velcro shoes. If the shoes have laces that are elastic based, but do not require ANY tying, that is OK!

Kids have accidents. All types of accidents and that is OK! Please ensure that your child has a complete set of extra clothing (underwear, socks, pants, shirt) in a labelled bag. As clothing becomes soiled, we will send items home and request replacement items.

A large portion of the Kindergarten Program includes messy and/or outdoor play. Please ensure that your child is wearing clothing that can accommodate getting messy and plenty of moving around! It is important for clothing to be weather appropriate since we spend much of our time outside! Clothing should allow for your child to independently dress themselves.

Labelling items that come to school is essential because it's not always easy for your child to identify their own items. Labels will stop others from taking what isn't theirs and if it gets lost, having it labelled with their name, will help it get returned. The number of unclaimed items in our Lost and Found each year is astounding!
