The Expanded Learning program is a free after-school time program funded in partnership with the State of California, Sacramento City Unified School District and Community-based organizations.
The Center's Expanded Learning Mission Statement:
The mission of our expanded learning programs is to provide innovative, youth-driven, high quality out-of-school-time opportunities that include building school-community partnerships, engaging families to participate in their children’s learning, and promote learning through project-based enrichment that complements the school day.
The mission of Youth Development is:
Keeping the whole child in mind, Youth Development provides high quality programming and support in order to build capacity among SCUSD students, families and community partners. We incorporate authentic youth voice and maintain an intentional focus on equity, relationship building and social justice.
Vision:
All SCUSD youth will become change agents within their own lives and communities through positive and relevant school experiences preparing them for college and career success.

Youth Employment (High School Age Student)
After School Enrichment Class
After School Sports Leagues (Intermediate Grade Levels)
Our services are rooted within a variety of proven frameworks, including youth development, resiliency, safety and supports, and intervention & prevention models as key building blocks for student success.

Transitional Kindergarten: 11:20 am - 6:00 pm
Kindergarten: 11:45 am - 6:00 pm
Primary Grades(1-3): 1:52 pm - 6:00 pm
Intermediate Grade(4-6): 2:12 pm - 6:00 pm
Middle School(7-8): 2:29 pm - 6:00 pm
Thursday:
Transitional Kindergarten: 11:20 am - 6:00 pm
Kindergarten: 11:45 am - 6:00 pm
