Students in the School of Engineering are exposed to a unique and explicit STEM curriculum from 9th grade through 12th grade. Though they do have a certain degree of personal choice in the path they pursue, they are all clearly on the same advanced track. For example, a senior may choose to pursue AP Chemistry while taking Honors Multicultural Literature; another senior may choose AP Language paired with Ecology and Honors Economics. In addition to the emphasis on rigorous classes, students will participate in a four-year Engineering pathway that includes Intro to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, Digital Electronics, and Engineering Design & Development. The final course in the Engineering pathway is the senior capstone project.
