Want to support the Ellis Library program? Considering purchasing an item from our Amazon wishlist:
Ellis is 1:1 with student devices. Primary (Pre-K and Kindergarten) students receive iPads. Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary, and Erdkinder students receive Chromebooks.
In order to receive a device, a parent/guardian must fill out a "Student Device Loan Form" and a "Family Protection Plan Form." Both of these forms are available in the PowerSchool Parent Portal.
If you need a PowerSchool Parent Portal account, please click here to request one.
If you already have an account and do not remember your username and password, please click the reset Username/Password on the Parent Access login screen at this link.
We highly encourage families to purchase the Family Protection Plan (FPP) provided by SCCPSS to cover any accidental damage that may happen to the device. The FPP may be purchased through your account on School Cash Online.

Here are a couple of things that you/your student can do on a regular basis to improve the Chromebooks performance.
Clearing Cache/Cookies from Chrome Browser- On step 3, change the time range to "All Time" instead of the "Last Hour" which is the default setting. On a Chromebook, you can also use the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Backspace.
Upload Files from Chromebook to Google Drive- After you copy any files from the device to your student's Google Drive, delete the files from the device.
