The BOOK IT! program runs October through March. If you would like to participate, please send a parent/guardian email address to Ms. Lisa (lisa.odonnell@sccpss.com).
BOOK IT! is a reading incentive program that rewards student reading through recognition and free pizza. More information can be found on the BOOK IT website. This reading program is available from October-March for K-6th grade students. This year, the program is entirely digital meaning that a parent/guardian email address is required to receive the pizza coupons. If your student is interested in participating, contact Ms. Lisa by email.
There are several ways to keep track of your student's reading. Use whatever way works best for your family:

Shop through Scholastic
Through the online shopping component of your school’s Scholastic book fair, you can now earn rewards for your school all year long:
Earn 25% in rewards for your school during your book fair:
Begins 5 days before your in-school fair starts, for a total of 14 days (ending at 11:59pm ET on the 14th day). During this time period, when you enter The Scholastic Store through your school’s book fair homepage, your purchase earns 25% in rewards for your school.
Earn 2% in rewards for your school when you shop the rest of the year:
Begins after the 25% earning period has ended. When you shop from your school’s book fair homepage or associate your account with your school, your purchase earns 2% in rewards for your school.
To get started, associate your Scholastic account with your school while your school’s book fairs homepage is available. Note that your school’s book fair homepage is available from 5 days before your in-school book fair starts until 30 days after your in-school book fair ends.
To associate your account:
Navigate to https://www.scholastic.com/fair
Enter your school name or zip code, and select your school to reach the Book Fair Homepage
Scroll down and click the “Shop Now” button – this will take you to shop online and earn rewards for your school at The Scholastic Store!
We encourage you to sign in or register once you reach The Scholastic Store. This will associate your Scholastic account to your school and make it easy to continue earning rewards for your school all year long! Just sign in and look for the yellow banner next time you shop at The Scholastic Store.
