What: As part of the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) School Linked Partnership and Capacity Grant, Sacramento County Office of Education (SCOE) and Santa Clara County Office of Education (SCCOE) invite you to register for one free virtual mental health 101 training. This session is intended for school, district, and county leaders, and will share turnkey resources to introduce concepts and conversations related to mental health. This will include slide decks trainings that leaders can implement for students, staff, and families. The same training will be offered twice, please register for one session! What: California Family and Community Engagement Initiative (CA FACE) along with representatives from Orange County Department of Education and Santa Clara County Office of Education are offering a one time training through Capacity Grants on how to engage in family and community engagement (FACE) around behavioral health services. The training will begin with FACE 101, introducing key resources, supports, and the framework that guides the work. It then moves into communication planning, highlighting the importance of both internal and external communication and offering practical tools like templates and sample scripts for discussing health insurance with families, including social media strategies.

What: We're excited to announce a Scope of Practice training from Elizabeth Estes and other experts in the field on May 4th from 9 to 11am. This training will be largely based on the slide deck found here. In talking with Elizabeth, she spent months talking with various licensing boards and associations to ensure that the material in this slide deck is aligned with the field and as up to date as possible. If you find yourself wrestling with scope of practice questions around your service providers at your COE, then this is the training for you!

What: We are pleased to invite educators from across California to one of our four upcoming Adult SEL 101 Trainings scheduled April - May 2026! This training is being offered on four dates, and is geared towards educators, staff, and administrators (same training provided four times to offer scheduling flexibility).
