IMPORTANT 2026-2027 DECA ROLEPLAY CHANGES

After a three-year project, the evaluation forms for all competitive events in DECA’s Competitive Events Program have been updated.

Team Decision Making Event roleplays will only include five KPIs instead of seven KPIs.
New Roleplay Rubrics:
- New Evaluation Levels (Novice, Developing, Proficient, Exemplary)
- Career Competencies are now being evaluated in place of 21st Century Skills
- Solutions are now being scored on uniqueness, practicality, and effectiveness
