The State High Science Olympiad Team is a club that shares a passion for science, whether it be earth science, physics, chemistry, or biology. Science Olympiad is a team competition consisting of 32 events in those subjects, each exploring a different branch of scientific discipline. Students study for written tests, acquire lab skills, and build their own devices.
State High Science Olympiad has consistently placed in top spots in the region against other schools and competed at the State level, with several members earning individual placings in events as well. Additionally, the team has participated in multiple invitational tournaments throughout the years, including the Carnegie Mellon Invitational Tournament and the Tiger Invitational Tournament.
