AP Exams at State High

Sign up and pay for your exams: August 23 - November 1

AP exams cost $105 through Nov. 1 and $145 thereafter. No exams can be ordered after March 1. See the FAQ for more details.

SCAHS students who are eligible for free or reduced lunches also qualify for free or reduced AP exam costs on up to 4 exams per year. Students who qualify must complete this form no later than Nov 1, 2022 to be eligible for any reduced fees. Do this instead of completing step 2.

To avoid test-day confusion, we strongly urge students to create their own College Board Account to register for AP exams. It is appropriate for students to use their SCASD email to create their account.

At MY AP you will:

  • Enter the join code for each of your State High AP classes (your teacher will give you this code)

  • Click the "REGISTER" button for each exam you want to take

At MY AP you can also:

  • Do AP prep and practice in AP Classroom.

  • Access your AP scores in July

  • Check scores for other assessments, like SAT and PSAT

At the SCASD Community Ed payment portal you will:

  • Pay for each of your AP exams (click the ALL CLASSES tab at top to find the AP exams)

SAVE $40 per exam if you complete both steps prior to November 1!

If you have not completed both steps:

  • clicked "register" for your exam(s) in My AP and

  • paid for your exam(s) in Community Ed,

no exam(s) will be ordered for you.

HOME SCHOOL students who reside in the State College Area School District boundaries and who intend to take AP Exams at State High must register for their exams between August 23 and November 1. Contact Michele Rowland to request a join code for an exam section at College Board.

Students registered at any other school may not take exams at SCAHS.
