Students participating in the virtual-only schedule will remain on their current schedule during all school closures.
Short-term closure:
For any closures 1-5 days in length, the Middle School will follow their 8-period in-person schedule with classes transitioning to Zoom meetings. During a short term closure students from both A and B cohorts as well as the virtual only students will attend classes everyday. The schedule will be as follows:
Medium- AND long-term closure:
For an absence longer than 5 days the Middle School will move to the remote learning plan outlined in the Restart Plan and summarized below.
The remote learning plan provides synchronous learning each day with opportunities for whole group and small group learning for each subject. The noted cohort will receive small group instruction for approximately half of each period on the day indicated. Specifics for each team will be provided prior to transitioning to this schedule. This schedule is summarized below.
*SG- Small Group - the small group indicated will remain on-line after the whole group is dismissed to independent work.
Short-term AND medium-term closure:
The High School will keep the hybrid schedule of classes but conduct all in-person classes virtually with both cohorts invited to those classes.
Long-term closure:
The High School will transition to the remote schedule of classes as outlined in the Restart Plan which is summarized below.
The daily schedule will consist of nine 40 minute periods. Wednesday will continue similarly to the hybrid model with time for teacher professional development and office hours (tutorial time) for students.
