This is the home of podcasting at Heathcote. Over the years 5th graders have tried multiple various on the medium. In addition, Mr. Casal created a few HeathcoteTech podcasts with other teachers as guest.
This page is a resource and reference page for all 5th graders to use when beginning the podcast unit of study.

Podcast Production Timeline
Each episode is on a 2-cycle production timeline. This means if students begin their episode planning and research on an A day they will research and prepare A -> F. On the second A day they will begin to record, edit, revise, etc. A finished episode will be submitted on the second F day. All groups can operate on the same A->F timeline, multiple espisodes can be in production at any given time. Episode numbers will be assigned to finished products, but one group doesn't need to wait for another to finish before they being.

One member of each should, per episode, should click the image below or click here. Google will ask you to make a copy of the document yourself. Place it in your Reading folder. Add your group member names to the file name (ie: Podcast Planning - Asher Eli). Share it with your other group members.
