WELCOME TO 2ND GRADE

We are excited to embark on a brand-new school year together! This webpage will serve as an important communication tool for families throughout the year. We will use it to share learning highlights and resources to help keep everyone connected.

As we prepare for the first day of school, please remember the following:

• Bring your school supplies.
• Bring a backpack.
• Bring a snack and lunch.
• Bring a water bottle each day.

We are so excited to meet our new second graders and begin this learning journey together. We look forward to a wonderful year filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences!

2nd Grade School Supply List

**Please have your child bring in a pair of USB-C Wired headphones (not 3.5mm or wireless/bluetooth), if you did not select it on the PTA school supply kit to use with their iPad. Please place them in a ziplock bag with your child's name.

If you did not order a supply kit for your child, please use the below list to help with your shopping.

3 – 12 ct. box Ticonderoga sharpened #2 pencils

1 – 12 ct. Crayola colored pencils

1 – 8 ct. Crayola washable markers (fine tip)

1- 8 ct. Crayola washable markers (broad tip)

1 - 24 ct. Crayola crayons

2 – Mead black & white wide-ruled composition notebook

2 – box tissues

2 - heavy duty pocket folders

4 - Elmer glue sticks

2 - Pink erasers

1 - baby wipes

1- 3” Pendaflex Wallet (zippered and the same color for the whole class) *The Pendaflex brand only

1 - 2 ct. Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens (black)

1 - 4 ct. dry erase chisel tip EXPO markers (black)

Please bundle the following items together:

Tissues and wipes together

Crayons, markers, colored pencils, regular pencils together

Erasers, glue sticks together (If possible please remove from packaging)

Notebooks, post-its, pocket folders, Pendaflex zipper folder together

Please make sure your child brings in all their supplies on the first day. All supplies will be shared in our classroom community so please do not put your child's name on any of the supplies.
