Things to know about Mrs. Gates...
She already knows she's getting old - grey hair is real.
She's been married 34 years to Jamie Gates, who teaches at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU).
She has 3 kids - Charisa, a doctor who is married to Jack; Anthony, a rancher and basketball ref who is married to Jaime (yep - we have a Jamie Gates and a Jaime Gates!), and Micaela who just graduated from PLNU. Actually, Charisa, Jack, and Anthony all graduated from PLNU, too.
She has 2 granddaughters - Joan and Magdalene, who are loads of fun and live just a little too far away.
She is from Pennsylvania, has lived in Boston, MA; Kansas City, MO; Pensacola and Gainesville, FL; and Cape Town, South Africa.
She is part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Choir of San Diego.
