The District does not mail transportation informational letters.
There are two ways parents can gain access to their students' bussing information:
SASD Parent Portal - bus stop information will be listed on the Student Information Tab
Parents - It is important that all contact numbers and email addresses are up to date in the parent portal.
This information can be edited/updated at any time in the Parent Portal.
Stop Finder Parent App -
Email notifications for parents to enroll in the Stop Finder app will be sent out during the second week of August each year. In this invitation email, parents will be asked to enroll and set up an account after downloading the Stop Finder app. Please double-check your Spam Email Folder for the invite email. The invite expires after 31 days. Parents can request another invitation email to be sent by emailing the District Transportation Department at transportation@sburg.org If you do not have internet access, you can call your child's assigned school to get bussing information.
*NOTE* - Once parents are enrolled in the app, you must scroll to the date of the first day of school (August 25, 2025) to see bus schedule information.
Whichever platform parents choose to view bussing information - please check back again a few days prior to the first day of school. In the days and weeks leading up to the first day of school, the Transportation Department will still be making changes to our bus routes. This is to accommodate new registrations and student withdrawals.
Students should be at their assigned bus stop 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time.
Please note that bus stops can be at least 1.5 miles from your residence for elementary and 2 miles for secondary.
Buses will run on the initially established routes for the first couple of weeks of school. Changes in routes are always possible to accommodate new students and/or to correct any route problems.
