Greetings 6th Graders!
For the past several years you've been able to experience what it's like to make music together in a group. This year you'll get to learn some of the techniques that professional musicians use all the time.
We'll learn how studio recordings are made, we'll learn how to record sound in a musical way, how to collaborate with other musicians over the internet and how to make music and sound effects for movies!
I can't wait to see you all on Zoom and show you how to be a musician online.

Durante los últimos años, ha podido experimentar lo que es hacer música juntos en un grupo. Este año aprenderás algunas de las técnicas que los músicos profesionales usan todo el tiempo.

Sixth Grade!
Whether you have your instrument at home or not, you can still make music. Sing!, Play percussion using boxes and sticks (or pots and pans if you have permission). Either way, Please check Mr. Larsen's Google Classroom for your rotation. There I'll be posting fun musical projects for you to try at home. I'd love to see videos of you making music in some way.
If you need help with tuning or have a different instrument at home that you want to try like a guitar, piano, ukulele or accordion, send me an email and we'll schedule a Zoom meeting so that I can help you.
