Class Description
This course has an emphasis on the conservation of natural resources including outdoor recreation topics and provides students with the opportunity to understand and appreciate the importance of maintaining the land and ecological systems that enable non-domesticated animals to thrive. Classroom and laboratory activities are supplemented through supervised agricultural experiences and leadership programs and activities. Students will also engage in FFA activities and begin record keeping for their SAE using AET. Students who enroll in this course are eligible and encouraged to join FFA. If the student elects to join FFA, he/she will be eligible to participate in FFA contests and trips. Many of the class activities may be closely related to FFA but ALL Students are expected to participate in ALL class activities.
