Class Description
This course begins with a brief review of the social reform movements that were underway at the turn of the century.
Further, the class will cover the people and events that shaped our country in this century. Topics covered during the
semester include social reforms, both World Wars, the Great Depression, the Vietnam War, Watergate, and others. This
course is designed to help students understand how the United States has evolved.
