Hello! My name is Kristian Schank and I teach social studies at Scottsbluff High School.  I have been a social studies teacher since 2015 and deeply enjoy my subject matter.  To me, social studies is one of the most important disciplines, allowing the learner to familiarize themselves with every aspect of academia.

I am a very qualified teacher, having received my bachelors' degree in history from Chadron State College in 2009, a masters in curriculum and instruction, as well as a social studies endorsement,  from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2018, and another masters in American history from Pace University and the Gilder Lehrman institute in 2020.  

I live in Scottsbluff with my wife and our two kids and have lived in Scottsbluff my whole life.  I look forward to teaching the youth of America and preparing them to become good American citizens.
