World History

Class Description

This course examines world history from the ancient world through the Modern Era.  Starting in the ancient world, this course will take a look at the technological, societal, and cultural developments of the world as history progressed towards the modern era.  A close examination of how a few individuals shaped the history of the world, how global conflict shaped world history, and how arts and culture began to develop will be an intricate part of this course. Through this course, students will gain a critical understanding of both the unity and diversity of the world.
