Instrumental Music (Band)

About Me 

Frank Ibero began his teaching career in the fall of 2000 and began as the Director of Bands at Scottsbluff High School in the fall of 2002. He assists with the 6th and 7th Grade Concert Bands at BMS. Mr. Ibero is also responsible for conducting the marching band, concert band, and jazz band at Scottsbluff High School. Prior to coming to Scottsbluff, Mr. Ibero taught in Ravenna, Nebraska.

He received a B.A. degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (2000) with an emphasis in K-12 Music Education and an M.A. in Music Education also from the University of Nebraska at Kearney (2008).

Under his direction, Scottsbluff High School bands have consistently earned Superior and Excellent Ratings. In addition, since  2006 he has been an active adjudicator at marching contests, conference solo and large ensemble contests, and district music contests.

He is a member of the Nebraska State Bandmasters Association, Nebraska Music Education Association, and National Association for Music Education. In his spare time, Frank enjoys reading, running, geocaching, and spending time with his family, Shannon his wife, his daughter Ashlyn, and son Riley.
