Reporter's Perspective by Elsie:
In this interview, we learned what it takes to be one of the top student press groups in the country and, and how to start. John Dent taught us that everything and everyone has a story--you just have to look for it, and find a way to tell it. Mr. Dent told us about how one of the biggest components of DP Media is student leadership. In DP Media there are student producers and Mr. Dent and Mr. Caines are there to guide the students, who do most of the work.

Reporter Perspective by Elsie:
In this interview, the students of DPNews explained their processes of how they prepare for an interview. Before the camera was rolling we went on a tour of the media room and we saw how the news anchors write their own scripts and how there is a camera near the teleprompter so when they are reading their script it looks like they are looking at the camera. One thing that was a common theme was that you can start by knowing nothing about media programs and end up being a student producer.

Reporter Perspective by Elsie:
In this interview we talked to Sophia, Jules, and Natalie about their experiences with DP Media, and what their hopes are for the future. We really enjoyed talking to these three young women. They were well-spoken and answered every question we asked in-depth, and provided explanations and examples for everything. We would love to interview them more in the future and see what they are doing, and how DP Media influenced their lives and their careers.
