Every student should be able to experience the full range of the university’s activities. If you have a disability, a long-standing medical condition or a specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia, the Disability Service can help you make the most of your time at UWS.
Here at UWS, we have introdcued SilverCloud, an online service that gives you secure, immediate access to interactive CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) modules.
Programmes include: Space from Stress, Space from Anxiety, Space from Depression, and Space for Positive Body Image.

At UWS we run a number of academic skills workshops to provide you with the fundamental understanding of academic writing and referencing to help you to succeed on the programme.
We also have a dedicated Careers & Skills Team available at UWS, helping you with developing your study skills, including supporting you with completing your assessments, work-based projects, and more...
