The mission of the SBCUSD Visual and Performing Arts Program is to make arts a priority and ensure that all students experience a world-class program. This is distinguished by:

Department Chair, Jennifer Burgan
Jennifer Burgan is the Visual and Performing Arts Department Chair at San Gorgonio High School, bringing 22 years of experience in education, including the past decade dedicated to inspiring students at SGHS. A professional artist whose work has been featured in juried exhibitions and published in art magazines, she blends her passion for creative expression with her commitment to arts education. Jennifer fosters a collaborative, innovative learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, take risks, and grow as both artists and individuals.
