The Vocal Arts Conservatory is designed to prepare students who will go on into a vocal music career by providing a well rounded vocal music education.  This includes choral singing, solo vocal singing, opportunities to meet and connect with local Collegiate faculty and staff. 

 The pathway begins in Choir 1, which may be auditioned out of, where students learn the basics of music reading, vocal production and many more choral and musical concepts that are reinforced daily.  Proficiency in the beginning course is demonstrated by various mandatory performances throughout the school year along with in-class assessments. 

The Pathway continues with Choir 2 and 3 which continue to build musicianship, ear training, sight reading, intermediate vocal techniques, small ensemble events, auditioning for honor choir events, as well as several community performances and regional choral festivals. Each year the individual students' goals increase in rigor and are tailor made for each and every VMP Student.
