Gale Science is a database of activities to help students visualize and understand concepts in biology, chemistry, geology, and physics.

Gale Environmental Understand important global issues through renowned journals, news coverage, and multimedia content. Students and educators can login using their SBCUSD credentials.

Nat Geo Kids SBCUSD staff and students now have complete access to National Geographic Kids' magazines and online content. Use your SBCUSD credentials to login.


ProQuest Central K-12 is a multidisciplinary resource that brings together appropriate databases for high school acedmics. ProQuest strives to prepare students for college academics by giving them access to a variety of sources and content using an interface that is widely utilized by collegiate institutions.

SIRS Issues Researcher offers selections from more than 2,000 international sources. Articles cover a range of topics including emerging social, scientific, health, historic, economic, political, and global issues.

Encyclopedia Britannica offers thousands of up-to-date, curated, and curriculum-relevant articles, images, videos, audio clips, primary sources, maps, and research tools. Students and teachers can even customize 

Britannica Escolar provides the same great resources as Britannica School... in Spanish! Content is curated and written by native speakers.

Teaching Books is a one-stop shop for all things literary! Access instructional resources, lesson plans, and activities for thousands of titles, or search through the collection to learn more about an author and listen to a complete audio recording of your favorite book. Google has partnered with World Bank to create a Public Data website. The database includes links to recent reports published by World Bank as well as the ability to explore the endless data collected by the organization.
